June In Corona
Can you believe that summer is here? Well it is and you better get out and get going because June is packed with great things to do In Corona. June starts out with the Great Taste on the 3rd and continues through the month with events such as The Old Tyme Picnic, Rollin for the Kids at the Fender Center, and the long awaited Godspell Production by the Corona Civic Light Opera. Dining In Corona - BRAVA STYLE
Recently on a girls night out, my son and I found ourselves home alone. Being guys, we knew exactly what to do. We hopped in the car and went down to Blockbuster and picked up the latest action movie. We then decided to grab some nachos at our favorite Mexican restaurant Salsa Brava.
The young lady asked if we wanted our nachos "Brava Style". Once again, being guys, we said "Sure, Bring It On"!
I first noticed something was different when I grabbed the bag off the counter and it felt like I was picking up a 5-pound sack of potatoes and not a container of Nachos. When we got home and opened up the Nachos a gleam came to our eyes as we gazed upon layer after layer of chips, cheese, meats, more meats, even more meats, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. Being the men we are, we now had a mission to eat the Mount Everest of Nachos. We made it through about 2 layers before we knew the Nachos had beaten us. The taste was so delicious it was hard to stop.
We shared our Brava Style Nachos with the girls when they returned, and they loved them but still could not finish what we had left. We now get Brava Style Nachos on nights when we have guests over, the kids are entertaining, or when we share them as a family of four.
